Final word from Singapore

I said one of the most unusual prayers ever today: Lord, please help me close the luggage.

Packing in earnest today. And it became clear that the amount of stuff I wanted to bring was NOT going to fit into the bags that I had. So at the last minute, I had to make a trip down to Carrefour to buy another bag- now we own a mega-big overnight bag!

Everything's in now. And I'm very tired. We'll be up early tomorrow to head to the airport, and the next post should be from LA. After I recover from jet lag.

HI Fio! Ah, reading bt your journey reminds me of ours! We've been keeping u all very much in thought n prayer. It'll be a tough journey, tho one that's exciting n adventurous. Being the mum n wife, you'll really need loads of fortitude n grace just to get thru those days when u've had ur max of being alert n watchful 24/7 n also managing sleep n rest deprivation, amongst other foregone perks. It's a journey God intends to grow us thru, so brace urself n take in the experience of it all. Smile, I'm sure you'll both do fine. Enjoy each day n moment n we are with you and here for you if u ever need to holler! We'll be the chief empathisers if u ever need some! Grin. God's good n is and will see you thru! Hug, Tin
